My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I may not look so bad right now, but I have had a pretty rough life. I only ask that you read and share my story, so that I may find a forever home indoors, where I will be safe and finally loved.

I have been outside most of my life, if not all of it. I was found in Indiana by the animal warden. My foster mom rescued me from the shelter they put me in. Had she not rescued me, I would not have survived.

When I came to her house I was scared. I refused to eat, and refused to drink, but she also refused. She refused to give up on me. I spent many days going back and forth to the vet because I was so sick and couldn't breathe. When I finally ate, my foster mom was so happy! I liked seeing her happy and continued to eat and eat until I had gained almost 3 pounds in a month!

You will notice that I have some floppy ears (my foster mom calls them cute). My ears haven’t always been that way. The vet said that I had infections in them a long time ago that caused them to be floppy. I am an easy boy to please, I like to lie on the floor, or next to the window for hours at a time. I have other roommates at my foster mom’s house, they are smaller and inferior kittens compared to me, but I don’t mind them much because I keep to myself.

I am a very relaxed cat, and enjoy spending time near you, as long as you love me and pet me gently. In return, I vow to give you the most loving stare, and head rubs.
