Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cresent lived with her family since she was a newborn. Now she's 8 months old and was brought to the Shelter because of "Landlord issues". There seems to be a lot of family pets who end up at the Shelter, because the landlord does not allow pets or they don't allow certain breeds - kinda' sad. Cresent was tested for heart worms on her arrival and none were found, so she is now on preventative. Her vaccinations have been caught up, she's been spayed and even microchipped. All she needs now is a home where pets are allowed and she will be loved and cared for forever. If you have such a home to offer, please come to the Shelter in Elizabeth City and meet Miss Cresent.
UPDATE - We took Cresent to an Adoption Event and she did quite well. We discovered that she seems to love kids, her tail would start wagging and she would almost smile when one would approach her cage. She's a bit excited when first taken out on leash, but settles down a bit after she walks a bit. She would probably do best on a harness. At 8 months Cresent still has a bit of puppy in her, but such a friendly girl who loves human attention.
