Otto Joseph's Story...
Otto Joseph is a staff and volunteer favorite at FACE! Otto was found by a volunteer laying behind an abandoned house on a dirty mattress, eating trash, with a bad skin irritation. It took only a couple of minutes to gain Otto's trust. He immediately loved his rescuer and climbed into her lap. Otto has not stopped climbing into laps since! He runs towards people and then immediately flops over on his back for belly rubs or leans onto their legs for attention. His absolute favorite thing in life is cuddles. Otto has done great with other dogs and other cats and would make a great dog for any home willing to let a big dog believe he is a lap dog!

Thank you for your interest in adopting from the FACE Low Cost Animal Clinic. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested and microchipped. The adoption fee for dogs is just $75. If you're interested in knowing more please email our adoption coordinator at adoptions@facespayneuter.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Otto Joseph, a Indianapolis Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
