Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jasper was once one of those poor souls dumped on Houston’s streets, living a lonely and miserable life. However, this guy had a guardian angel, he was lucky that our volunteers crossed his path. He was found limping along a road searching for something to eat. He had a badly injured leg and just looked so sad and lost. After offering him a meal, he trusted them enough to willingly jump in the car, knowing life would only get better.
Jasper is a handsome Labrador Retriever mix. He was born around June 2015 and is now almost 2 years old. He weighs around 62 pounds.
He is currently living in a loving foster home and is very pleased with his new living situation. His injury is a thing of a past and he has adjusted to life inside a home quickly. He is already house and crate trained, has excellent leash manners and knows basic commands. He is very submissive with people and makes friends quickly including with respectful children.
Jasper has an average energy level and loves to play with his furry foster sibling. If he is not playing or pleasing his human he is an avid gecko chaser, it’s his top priority whenever he goes outside.
His foster mom describes Jasper as a very easy going and friendly dog, who listens well and just wants to love and be loved in return. He is all set and ready to find his forever family. Will it be you?
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas but is available for transport to most major US and Canadian cities via United Airlines PetSafe for an additional $275.
