Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oscar (Omicron) came to HART from a sad hoarding situation where he had very little if any human interaction. He’s medium sized and weighs about 35 pounds.
The good news is Oscar is very sweet, likes the company of his foster brother, and is very interested in activities such as a daily walk and eating twice a day. Oscar has never had an accident in his foster’s house even though he is out of his cage during the day they are off to work. He does like to be pet.
However, he struggles to be a confident dog. This means, he still needs to be walked on a leash to go outside. If you drop his leash, he will very likely run off because he is scared. He knows his name and while he will walk toward you after you call his name, he might just as easily run off to a safe spot in the house. He is rattled by noises unfamiliar to him. He likes other dogs and whimpers occasionally. His foster family has never heard him bark. Oscar needs someone who is patient and willing to take the time to love him and build his confidence. Won’t you give him a chance?
