Happy's Story...
Gray skies are gonna clear up,
Put on a happy face!
Brush off the clouds and cheer up,
Put on a happy face!
Loneliness got your down,
Pick up a Happy pup!
That’s right, Happy here will brighten up even the loneliest days. And it seems like a pretty good deal to me—you’re in need of a friend, I’m in need of a friend. Let’s make each other Happy and be friends! I’ll happily share my home with other dogs, cats, or respectful children. Happy here is a friend to all! I am still young and need a bit more training and guidance, so give me plenty of exercise and attention when we’re together, and I’ll be happy to rest in my crate while you’re away. Oh boy, I bet you’ve got your Happy face on already! 1 ½ years old-50lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes microchip & registration, neuter, reduced-cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, dog food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Happy, a Portland Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Portland, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
