Kane's Story...
There is nothing sweeter than puppy kisses and Kane loves sharing kisses and being held. He just wants to be close to his person. Kane is a good boy and a fast learner. He is passing house training with flying colors! He is a cutie--just look at that face! He has a funny bark and sometimes it sounds like he is talking. He has not been tested with cats, but he sure loves playing with other dogs and gets along with them great. It would be ideal if his new home had puppy brothers or sisters to keep him company. He does well in a crate overnight or while his foster mom is gone. If you would like to make Kane a part of your family or would like to meet him, please fill out an application at forrescue.net. He will definitely brighten up your life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kane, a Homewood Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
