Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi my name is Penny! I am a 1 year old spayed female Pitbull. At 75 pounds I am a pretty big girl but I am as gentle and sweet as can be. I had a very rough start to life. Not only did I narrowly escape becoming a bait dog, but I also was on death row more than once at the ripe old age of 1. Right before my first birthday I was rescued and placed into a foster home. I am now living with a professional dog trainer which is helping me learn some basic commands. I know Sit, Laydown, Come, and Wait. I am very strong when walking on a leash but I am smart girl and am learning quickly. Although I am crate trained I prefer to be loose in the house. If I get proper exercise, (A walk once a day and to throw the ball around for 30minutes) and have appropriate chew toys, I stay out of trouble in the house. I am very well housetrained and have not had any accidents for the 6 weeks I have been in foster. I am living with 3 kids right now and they are really great! I get along best with t!
he 8 year old, (She throws the ball the most) the 5 year old is nice but sometimes she can be very rowdy and will cause me to get overly excited. I also live with a 10 month old baby and he is new to me but I have done very well adjusting to him. I would be a wonderful dog for a family with kids of all ages! At this time I require a home without other dogs. Because of my past I am very defensive with dogs and do not trust I am safe around them. My foster has been rehabilitating me and I feel that one day I will not view other dogs as being dangerous. I also do not like cats! So a cat free home is the best option for me. My absolute favorite thing is to play fetch! I also love to cuddle in bed with you. I am an active dog but a couch potato at the same time, the best of both worlds! If you would like to adopt me or learn more information please send me an email. Love, Penny
