My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Goldie(8) and I’m 6 years old. My little sister, Sweetie(4), and I are looking for a new furever home because our owner got really, really sick and can’t take care of us any more. My foster mom calls me Chunky Monkey because I’m just a little overweight. Okay, maybe a lot because they tell me I weigh 126 lbs. I LOVE people and giving kisses and I love attention and I try to crawl up in your lap because I think I’m a lap dog. My tail wags all the time so I can help with the dusting if you want me too. Like I said, I’m a little overweight so you will have to help me get my svelte figure back. Don’t know if I like children or cats, and my foster home doesn’t have a doggy door or pool so don’t know about them either. I get along great with my foster sister, who is also a lab, but think my sister and I should be the only dogs in the household, since you get 2 for the price of 1. What a deal! I like to bark to let you know when people walk by the house, I don’t get up on the furniture, am house trained and know some commands. I probably need work on the leash because I am a big girl and can pull really hard. I am trustworthy in the house, sleep with my sister in our crate all night long (with the door open) and like car rides.
