Trevor's Story...
Hi my name is Trevor! I am a playful, active Miniature Schnauzer mix who is 4 years old and 16 lbs. I've been used my entire life for breeding and lived outside in a kennel in the North Georgia Mountains. I'm learning what life is like as an indoor family pet, and I think it's pretty awesome! I love other dogs and am looking for a forever home with another dog. Small children make me nervous, as I am not used to them. I will do best in a home without them.

If you are interested in adopting me, please apply online at www.orphanannierescue.org.

My adoption fee is $300, which includes my neuter, shots, heartworm testing, and microchipping.

I am available for adoption in Georgia only.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trevor, a Atlanta Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
