My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cookie! She was born sometime in June of 2016. She currently weighs about 10 pounds. She was pulled from Animal Control, emaciated and very poor coat condition. She had many bald spots and was heavily matted. Her skin is now clear and her coat is beautiful and soft. Her DNA has been tested for ancestry and her top three breed ancestry points to American Eskimo Dog, Miniature Poodle and Pomeranian Mix. She appears not to shed and requires regular grooming to keep her coat unmatted and trim. She was recently groomed at Cedartown Pet Boutique and Audrey said she was very well behaved for a first-timer. She can be a bit standoffish at first, but once she realizes you mean her no harm she is friendly and playful. She is crate trained and housebroken. She walks well on leash and enjoys long walks. She is very friendly and playful with other dogs and is okay with cats, too. She is good with children. She is very intelligent and easy to train. She does, though, have skin allergies that will cause itching and sores. She is currently on a small daily dose of Apoquel and it is working wonders. At this time, the monthly cost is approximately $14. She is on Bravecto Flea/Tick preventive which is also helping to keep her skin clear. These are her only special needs.....she appears to be happy and healthy, otherwise. Cookie's adoption fee is $300. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested negative (on monthly heartworm and flea preventive) and are microchipped. Upon adoption, the microchip will be registered with your contact information and you will be eligible to activate a free 30 day health insurance policy. If you are interested in Cookie, please contact Gail Posey at 678-361-7304 or email pspp_inc@yahoo.com.
