Emerson is Adopted
Emerson is currently fostered in Lyndhurst OH, and his adoption fee/donation will be minimal to an approved adopter.
Emerson is a 12 yr old cocker spaniel, he was surrendered to our rescue when his owner could no longer provide care for him.
Emerson is SO perfect, he is obedient, loving, loyal, affectionate, and laid back, he only wants to give love and receive it.
This boy is a favorite amongst our fosters, they think he is the most wonderful little dog, and they can't imagine how hard it was for his previous owner to give him up.
Emerson is good with other dogs, cats, and just fits right into any pack.
He is housetrained, can be left free in the house when alone.
He doesn't get into things, and amazingly doesn't have accidents, even at his age, he holds it until let out.
Emerson is in good health in general, but does have limited hearing, some arthritis in his back legs, and has had a heart mur-mur his entire life which has not been a problem for him.
He just had a dental cleaning since coming into rescue, as well as his neuter, and a benign tumor removed from his anal area.
He did great under anesthesia, his blood work was normal, and had no problems with his heart murmur during the surgery.
Emerson is heartworm negative and up to date on all vaccinations.
We are looking for a loving home for this sweet senior, one where he can retire, and be cared for in his golden years.

In some cases we may be able to assist with transport.
