My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Abby, a purebred Shih Tzu who just turned 5yrs old. She's a little 13.5 lbs, gets along with dogs, cats, and kids. Loves playing with her toys, enjoys snuggles, playing outside and laying in her dog bed. All around a great dog. We are requiring her adopter to have a fenced yard, as requested by her previous owner and foster mom. Abby absolutely loves going on walks as well. She was surrendered as her previous owner had to go into a nursing facility and could no longer care for her.

She is potty/crate trained. She needs someone who doesn't feed their pet table scraps or junk snacks, as she requires a strict diet. She has had a bladders stone before in which she had to have surgery. We are going to look for an adopter with a stellar vet history as well. She will require a prescription diet food from the vet's office.
