Meet the fabulous Cooper! This gentle giant is a sweet 9-year-old Labrador-pitbull mix. Cooper joined the SDHH family after he was removed from his home as part of a cruelty investigation. He had been living with 23 other dogs, 7 cats, and a bird. This may explain why he is so absolutely fantastic with other animals.

Cooper is a big boy but all 86 lbs of him is exceptionally sweet. He can come off a little shy at first, but after a few meetings he warms up and shows you just how much he adores you! He enjoys short walks and is great on a leash. He has been a quiet, well behaved, perfect gentleman at our adoption events. Cooper is accustomed to being around a lot of other animals, so he can be a little nervous when left alone. He'd be great in a multi pet household!
