My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elizabeth is one of three cats (believed to be siblings) who spent their first few months living on a porch. Elizabeth, along with her brother Shadow and sister BW were rescued after concerns that one or more of them may be being harmed by humans in the area.

Elizabeth spends her day cuddling with her siblings (especially BW) on the bed and greatly enjoys stretching out by the window and sleeping in the sun. She likes to bat around any round object she can find, and is very protective of her sister BW.

At this point in time, Elizabeth is unable to be held or petted, although she has made great strides since entering foster care. She now will willingly come to your hand to sniff and is showing increasing interest in allowing further contact. She is very interested in attempts at play by humans; routine play with Elizabeth is likely to build trust and eventually lead to positive physical interaction.

Just like her siblings, she requires patience and time to adjust to new people. She hasn’t had any interaction with dogs, gets along beautifully with her brother and sister, and does express positive interest in the other cats in her foster home.
