My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beautiful Callie will be about 8 weeks the weekend of February 25th. Callie is a super sweet girl who is playful and loves other dogs. She has not been exposed to cats yet, but give her age, should adopt fine. She has been with the rescue since birth and is extremely healthy with a bright, silky, soft coat.

If you are gone 6+ hours a day, a puppy is not the right match for you. Puppies can't be crated for more then a few hours at a time as they can't hold it, they need exercise as they get older, continued socialization, and it's not good for puppies to be crated all day long if no one is home. A 30-45 minute break at lunch is not enough out of crate time for a dog. If you would consider doggy daycare that would be an option if your gone all day.

This pup is being fostered in a Lisle, IL home, which is where you and your family would go to meet him. All family members, including 4-legged dogs, must be present at the meet and greet to adopt. In order to schedule a meet and greet, please submit and adoption application which can be found on-line at http://angelsonwheels.org/canine-adoption-application/ . If the website is down, please email angelsonwheelsmpd@gmail.com for an application Once we receive the application we will process.

Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but is required prior to making arrangements for a meet and greet as all of our animals are cared for in homes. We can't schedule meet and greets until the application is submitted and approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The adoption fee of $375.00 includes:
Spaying which we pay for when the pup is 5-6 months old
Microchip
Dewormed with pyrantel
Given Flea Preventative
Vet Checked
Up to date with DHPP puppy vaccination
Rabies Vaccination if over 4 months
Free Health Exam to one of our participating vets

You will receive a free health exam visit to either Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic, Yorkville Animal Hospital, Midwest Animal Hospital in Orland Park, Springbrook Animal Hospital,Countryside Animal Clinic of Carol Stream or Naperville Animal Hospital.

Although we make the best guess on the breed and size of our dogs, because they come from shelters or are strays, we can never be completely certain of the genetic makeup of the dog. Breed and weight at maturity are only guesses. All we can tell you for sure is that they are 100% RESCUED! If an animal is still posted for adoption, he/she is still available. If you see this this post, this puppy is available for adoption so there is no need to email asking about availability.

Thank you for looking at our rescued animals!
