My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ruby, She is a Redbone Coonhound who came into the shelter on Feb. 10th after being found a few days earlier as a stray in the Deer Creek Rd. area with another dog (a Plott Hound, we call Bowzer). Both dogs were extremely thin and had obviously lacked being provided food and vet care. In the past 8 days these two have received de-wormer, heartworm test, frontline plus, vaccines, and a bath (and even began to gain weight). They are such sweet souls who would love to be part of someone's family. Ruby does great with other dogs. She is currently on antibiotic eye drops to clear up an infection. Ruby needs a forever home. She is available for adoption or rescue. If interested please call or email the shelter at 812.547.6381 / perrycountyanimalshelter@gmail.com.
