My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shyla is a 4 year old, 20 pound Dachshund/beagle mix! She is a lover. Shy upon first meeting, she will warm up to you quickly! She gets along very well with other dogs and is friendly with children. Shyla LOVES the outdoors. She walks very well on a leash and is not skittish or shy about the sights and sounds of busy NYC. You’ll spot Shyla walking with a soft body language and a waggy tail! You’ll see by watching her video that she loves toys! Her most favorite ones are those that squeak. Shyla enjoys cuddling up with her humans and likes being pet.

She sleeps well through the night and enjoys going to her foster mom’s office by day. She lounges about in a soft plush bed and plays with her toys.

Shyla is housetrained and walks great on a leash. She travels with her foster mom every day to and from the office. She’s a champ in the subway or in the car.
