found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
If there is a sweeter 4-year-old Black Labrador than Max, we've never met him. He is gentle, calm and very lovable. He gets along great with kids and other dogs. He is leash trained and housebroken. Max was previously abandoned by his owner but despite his shaky upbringing, he is a trusting loyal companion and would make an excellent family pet!
This is a COURTESY POSTING for The Robert T. Brentnall Pawsibilities Foundation.
His original owner abandoned him. A roommate continued for feed him for about the next year and a half. Then, around February 6th, the roommate moved out. Some neighbors continued feeding him every other day, but the neighbors shortly moved out as well and we had no way of knowing if Max had access to food and water. He was alone on the property for 2 weeks.
After seeing a plea for him posted on January 23rd about how he was left alone and needed care, a rescue network friend of Life 4 Paws drove out to the property to find he was already alone. Max was very timid, but quickly won over by chicken nuggets and they were able to get him in the car. He had been living as an outside dog on a very large property where he roamed between the two houses. He very easily could have left the property, as it wasn’t fenced in, but diligently stayed even when everyone abandoned him. Max is a very sweet boy who just loves attention.
