Here's what the humans have to say about me:
“Yogi is my spirit animal!” Seriously, have you ever met one of those happy, energetic dogs that just won’t let anything get him down? Have you ever seen a three-legged dog at the dog park and thought, WOW, you are my hero!? Yogi is that dog. He was surrendered by his family and left at the shelter, with a leg that had been broken for months and was never treated or healed. We knew right away that his leg had to be amputated. But that does not slow him down one bit. Yogi is about 50 lbs of fun, about 11 months old, and always has a smile on his face. He is living in a busy, active, foster home with lots of teenagers and dogs and even cats. He is friendly to everyone he meets. He is still young, and could use a little training and lots of exercise. Yogi would do well with a doggy sibling but can be an only dog too. Questions about Yogi can be sent to animalheartline@hotmail.com. Adoption applications can be found at animalheartline.org. Home checks are a requirement of adoption, so we ask that you live within 50 miles of his foster home, which is in Aurora, IL. Thank you for considering adopting a pet!
