My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Ike. I was rescued from the shelter. I am a love bug. I am quite but so enjoy being around people and soaking up all the attention I can get. And speaking of soaking... I like to play in the water and attack bubbles. I also like to drink from the faucett. I am quiet but I love for you to pet me and set next to me. I will
sleep with you. I have a smooth purr which when it get started does not want to stop especially if it will get me additional attention. My favorite pasttime (besides my looong naps) is to play with kittens and fuzzy mice! I get along with other cats and tolerate dogs. I travel well. I am easy going.
I am just needing someone that has time to cuddle and talk to me.

There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.

Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center) or at Petsmart in Smithfield.
