Dixie's story is one that we at WDR do not come across very often. Her journey began as long term boarding, but has now turned into abandonment. Dixie has been waiting for over 2 and a half months and would really like to be back in a home. She is 6 years old, spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. She does well with most other dogs and loves adults and children. Dixie will need a home with a fenced in yard, as she does have a lot of energy to burn off. She would be a great fit for an active family and makes an excellent running partner.
