Bella's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, and up to date with shots.

Bella's Story...
Bella is a beautiful tortoiseshell kitty. She loves to sit in your lap and will come running if she knows she's going to get brushed. She was found outside in a backyard in Brooklyn along with several feral cats, but she clearly wasn't always an outdoor cat, she's too friendly! She can sometimes get overstimulated when being petted, though, so she needs an adopter who can understand her communication about when she wants to stop. We think she would do better in a home with adults or with older children, for this reason.

Bella is estimated to be about 3-4 years old. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date with vaccines, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
