I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

scooby's Story...
Scooby is a big lovable baby. She is full of energy. Loves to play with toys, especially balls outside, and going for walks. She also has her calm moments where she loves to lay around chewing on bones or cuddling. She is a sensitive dog that needs lots of love. Makes a great cuddle buddy. She is super smart, potty trained, knows some tricks, but could use more training. Doesn't get along great with other dogs, with training we feel she can overcome her fear of other dogs. Scooby really lives up to her name. An energetic, lovable, scaredy cat that loves Scooby snacks and needs to find her Scooby gang.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

scooby, a Portland Great Dane/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Portland, or seeking a Great Dane/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Great Dane/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
