Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cuddles is a six-year-old seal point female Siamese mix. And those blue eyes of hers are beautiful! Cuddles was rescued from the streets in an inner city neighborhood, worse for the wear. She came to us with cuts on her feet, nervous, and very, very hungry. It was apparent Cuddles had prior human contact, and possibly not in the best way; we suspect she was used for breeding purposes only, and never knew love. Cuddles was adopted previously for a brief period, and did well in her new home with excellent care provided to her, but a change in household circumstances altered that for Cuddles, and she came back to us. Cuddles has had a difficult time adjusting since her return to the shelter. She likes cats and dogs, but is not overly affectionate with humans. She will eat treats out of your hand, and does like to be stroked, but is more leery of being held, so she’s not a lap cat. We hope that an individual or family comes along and sees her uniqueness, and allows her time to forget her past of exploitation and no love, and instead experience love for a lifetime. So, if you’re looking for a quiet and independent feline, we’ve got Cuddles!
At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, and testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.
