Misha's Story...
Our sweet girl Misha was brought to us by some very nice people who found her under their porch It was quite obvious that she had been hit by a car but thankfully she had no broken bones or internal injuries. Wen they brought her here she was quite scared and timid. We think she was abused and then just dumped off. She came out of her shell rather quickly and started to enjoy all the craziness here at the rescue. She loves to play with the crazy little Chihuahuas and has even been caught sneaking one or two in her crate! Just a very sweet girl. She is heart worm negative, spayed and up to date on all of her vaccines. She is also crate trained and house broken. We believer her to be 4-5 years young She would just love to have her forever home Could that be you??

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Misha, a Salem Mountain Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mountain Cur for sale in Salem, or seeking a Mountain Cur dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mountain Cur breeders who help with Mountain Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
