My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Ernie (HWTH#17056A). He is a Pit mix, DOB: 2/12/12. Ernie weighs approximately 70 pounds and stands 21 inches at the shoulders. He was rescued off the streets of the Antelope Valley by a Good Samaritan and has now been relinquished to Halfway to Home so Ernie can find the permanent home he deserves. At present, Ernie is residing with a volunteer with Halfway to Home and 14 other dogs of various ages and sizes with no problems. He is extremely loving and will need a kind owner willing to give him the love he craves and the exercise needed to keep him fit and occupied. When Ernie is thoroughly settled in his new home, he will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training and the bonding process. Once Ernie has bonded with his new owner, he will make an amazing canine companion. It might also be nice if Ernie had a compatible canine companion to play with in his new Forever home. Ernie has learned to use a dog door and is house trained and crate trained. For more information on Ernie, please contact Suzanne at tele # 661-824-4495.
