My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Buddy (HWTH#17061A). He is a Queensland Heeler mix, DOB 9/30/13. Buddy weighs approximately 65 pounds (he is a little overweight for his height) and stands 19 inches at the shoulders. This is a wonderful dog, very friendly and curious. He appears to be an active fellow who, besides lots of love and good-quality human companionship, will need regular daily exercise to get his weight down and keep him occupied. His new owner should be an active type that perhaps likes to hike with a canine companion. When Buddy is thoroughly settled into his new Forever home, he will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with the bonding process. Once Buddy has bonded with his new owner, he will make an amazingly loyal canine companion. Buddy will begin crate training while in the care of Halfway to Home.
