Samson's Story...
Samson ended up at a high kill shelter and got very lucky to be adopted. Then this poor boys luck ran out. He got brought back not by his fault but for his own safety. You see Samson is a lover and not a fighter and the owner had 2 German Shepherds that attacked poor Samson. You can actually see on his picture that part of his ear is missing from being attacked. This has not changed this sweet boys personality at all. He is in a foster home with 2 female dogs about his size and they all get on great, he loves to play with them in a big fenced in yard. His foster mum has a baby and he is very gentle. Samson is about 2 years old and 50lbs. He looks like he could be a Boxer/Mountain Cur. He is a beautiful brindle colour. Samson is fixed, current on all shots, heartworm negative, micro chipped and on monthly prevention. Are you looking for a snuggle buddy?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samson, a Hermitage Boxer/Mountain Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Mountain Cur for sale in Hermitage, or seeking a Boxer/Mountain Cur dog from a breeder in Hermitage.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hermitage already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hermitage breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Mountain Cur breeders who help with Boxer/Mountain Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hermitage paves the way for another one to be saved.
