Apache's Story...
Meet our newest rescue: Apache!
Apache was originally found as a stray on an Indian Reservation, after it became clear that he had no owners looking for him we took him into our care.
Apache is a sweet, handsome, 2 year old male pitty. He is calm, dainty and so gentle. He loves to follow his person around loyally asking only for pets in return.
Apache is great with young kids, other dogs and all people. He is learning manners around kitties but we don't feel he will have any issues with them. This handsome boy is potty trained & crated trained and so ready for a home of his own. If you are interested in Apache email us at tailsandscalesanimalrescue@gmail.com!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Apache, a Saugus Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Saugus, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Saugus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saugus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saugus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saugus paves the way for another one to be saved.
