My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gina is a female purebred Maltese, 3 years of age. She has a lovely white coat of non shedding hair. She is a nice size, weighing 8 lbs 12 oz. Gina arrived from Korea on Feb. 16th after being rescued from an illegal puppy mill that was raided before the dogs could be sent to the meat market. Amazingly, she is friendly and personable. Gina truly wants to be near a person and will quietly snuggle next to you. She enjoys being petted. Gina was very unhappy (crying and howling) when confined to a crate or left alone. She exhibited severe anxiety staying with a foster living in a condo. To help Gina with her separation anxiety and house training, she was moved to a foster home with a yard. Gina adapted to the scheduled routine of her new foster home, but what really made her happy was Kuma joining the foster home. When Gina saw Kuma, she rushed to him, grabbing and nuzzling him. These two dogs are so devoted to each other. Gina no longer cries or howls when her foster mom leaves for short periods of time. Gina and Kuma would be so happy if an adoptive person would adopt both of them. They would do best in a home with a yard and a caring person with time to train them. Both of these dogs are going to be a wonderful, loving companion pets.
