Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB Jan 18th, 2009
Sammy is a happy, playful lady even as she approaches old age. She likes to hide and sleep under blankets while purring loudly. Sammy will always tell you when she does or doesn't want attention and may bite or swat your hand when she's had enough. However she is very good with her claws and does not tend to scratch. She especially enjoys wand toys. And she always wants to sleep in bed with her favourite people and will cuddle up next to them. Often she will sleep on her back with her paws in the air which is very cute.
Sammy has had several teeth pulled and therefore relies on wet food which is easier for her to chew, but will eat dry food if it is offered.
Sammy gives love bites and also bites when she wants you to stop petting her, therefore she should not be with young children. When bored she will meow and scratch at the walls, but if you offer her attention and play time then she'll stop. In these moments she is just a little restless and is looking for some fun
Sammy's previous owner passed away and with no one to take care of her she was rescued by Toronto Cat Rescue. She is hoping for a furever home and someone she can grow old with.
Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice is appreciated versus our standard adoption fee of $175.
