My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dear New Family,
I am a fine fella named Redken. Handsome on the outside, that’s easy to see! But let me tell you a little bit about the real me…..I was left behind at shelter back in Cali, homeless and on my own. Thankfully, a nice rescue took me in. Whew, safe and sound…soon my family will be coming back for me, I thought to myself. But they didn’t show, decided not to come at all. I waited and I waited for a new family to call my own, but no such luck. A change of scenery was in order, so here I am in Oregon getting a new chance at a New Life….see, I know I will find a wonderful forever family who will be gentle and loving and caring and willing to make a true commitment. You know, a family deserving of a wonderful companion like myself. I am loving and affectionate to all that I meet as long as they are very gentle and respectful of me, I’m great with other dogs, and I even enjoyed meeting the cat today. Even when things seem bleak, I always have a wagging tail and a smile on my face. So I was hoping that maybe you could come down to Family Dogs and ask to meet me….Hope to see you soon!?
Sincerely, Redken.
