ANOKI's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

ANOKI's Story...
ANOKI is a 3 year old black male with natural ears. He has come to rescue because her owner’s mother, who has passed away, was helping to care for her and now his family doesn’t have the time to spend with him. Anoki is good with kids over the age of 5, other dogs, and cats. He hasn’t been around indoor cats, but has been fine with the cats living in his back yard. He can be reserved when he first meets some met, but given time he will warm up to them. Since Anoki’s primary care taker has passed away, he has been showing some signs of mild separation anxiety and has become more of a Velcro dog. He is currently going for at least 2 walks a day and visits the dog park regularly. Anoki is your typical male love bug of a Dane who would love to hang out with you on the couch while you were watching TV. Anoki came to MAGDRL in September 2008.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ANOKI, a Hanover Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Hanover, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Hanover.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hanover already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hanover breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hanover paves the way for another one to be saved.
