Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Buck. I am a beautiful 8 year old yellow lab. I have a very sweet disposition and am very well behaved. I don't bother the human food on the counter or pantry. I may give a little bark when someone knocks, but immediately stop and wag my tail. I love attention, and follow my foster mom around. I like to sleep by her feet at the desk.
My foster boy did let me up on the couch with him to snuggle last night. He likes to wrestle with me. I sure did enjoy taking a swim in the pool too! I am a great swimmer and had fun getting the ball and bringing it back to the boy. He has a lot of yellow balls he throws for me. I am just learning what the word DROP means. My foster parents have cats. I don't mind them - these didn't want me around, so I just walked away. I like to play outside. I followed the boy around the park, chased the ball, and came back when called. I did have to stop and sniff some bushes on the way.
My foster mom has little kids toys at the house - and I just sniffed them and didn't chew anything. I brought her a toy that I found, she took it back and told me not to pick it up again, and I haven't. I can sit and shake and I walk nicely on leash. My foster mom said she never would have guessed I was 8 year old. I don't show any signs of aches or pains. I am a solid 80lbs with a short nose and square head. I am good with other dogs too! My old family had another dog. My owner passed away and a family member was helping but couldn't keep me any longer. I am looking for a great family that will take me on walks and let me play with the ball. I will make sure to keep their feet warm while they work at the desk in return.
