Tina was originally surrendered to the SPCA (supposedly "no-kill"), however when she couldn't pass their temperament testing, she was transferred to the Hayward Shelter where she could have been euthanized, if Nobody's Perfekt Dogs hadn't stepped in to save her.
She is a typical Chihuahua - loves to be on a lap. She seems comfortable with a variety of people and gets along well with other small dogs. She does bark when she sees strangers outside her apartment where she is being fostered. She is also uncomfortable with "unexpected interaction" with people she doesn't know. Strangers should go slow with her - offering a sniff, or maybe a little treat before engaging with her.
We recommend a quieter home with no kids, but other small friendly dogs are no problem. Not sure about cats.
