My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DAISY #3 is a 12 year old spayed yellow female Lab who weighs 54 pounds. DAISY is a little sweetheart who has the energy level and agility of a younger girl!! She is like little miss energizer bunny! She is a great retriever of tennis balls, and likes interactive food toys. She is one SMART pup! Daisy knows a lot of commands and has excellent recall. She loves nothing better than to go for sniff walks, but does pull on leash - so a well fitted Easy Walk harness is recommended. Daisy needs a fenced yard due to her 'hunting nose'...she will get on the scent of something very quickly, and keep following it! Daisy LOVES human attention! Daisy has lived with cats. She would prefer to have one quiet dog to hang out with or to get all of the attention herself! Daisy would thrive with someone home more than not. When left, a stuffed marrow bone will keep her busy. She does not like to be crated and doesn’t need it. Daisy eats well and needs to be maintained on a limited ingredient diet for skin allergies. Owner give up to lab rescue due to owner losing home.

Update: Daisy is full of energy for her age and will fetch a ball, go for a walk, and be by your side keeping you company all day. She gets so excited to fetch and go for walks that we keep these activities short so she doesn't get too tired. A half hour of fetch or a half hour walk is all she needs to stay happy. Daisy can be trusted off leash in a safe area because she will come running to you when called. A male Labradoodle came over for a visit last week. He wanted to play but Daisy did not want to play at first, but in a little while she was following him around and wagging her tail at him. When it was time for him to go home she wanted to leave with him. Daisy is very good with visitors in our home and loves to be petted. Daisy would love to have a forever family this Summer. Can you be Daisy's forever Family?

Update: Daisy went hiking yesterday. We hiked to a river and she went swimming. Daisy acted like a puppy sniffing everything and bouncing along the trail. When we got to the river she would not go in until something was thrown for her to fetch. After the hike we went to a dog friendly restaurant and she charmed all the people with her. She's such a sweet girl!
