Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Isn't she GORGEOUS? Mila has a striking brindle coat that is so soft and sleek. She came all the way from Alabama to find her happily ever after. We can honestly say we are not sure what breeds she may have in her DNA, but we can offer a guess. We thought boxer and terrier of some sort but this girl is growing like a weed! So, we looked up boxer-mastiff mixes and I will say she looks strikingly similar. We have had one Boxmas come thru our rescue before and he was a handsome guy. Of course they will all have their own look depending on which genes are a bit more dominant. Mila came to rescue due to her fearfulness at the shelter. Who can blame her she is just a pup trying to figure out what in the world is going on. She does not seem to have had a lot of human handling but she is warming up. Initially she will bark at us and run away. We have been spending time holding her and letting her know people are OK. Mila has taken a few naps on my lap and seems to enjoy being petted, it is at those times she lets her guard down and snuggles in. She is slowly coming around and not feeling so defensive. We are looking for a very dog savvy person that will be able to work on her fears, help her gain some confidence so she can reach her full potential. She is doing a little leash work but has a long ways to go, we suggest puppy classes in the future to help her along and continue to expose her to new people and surroundings. Mila adores the other dogs of all shapes and sizes. She loves to play with anyone that is up for a game of chase, toys are new to her but she is figuring them out. Her adoption fee is $199, she is fully vetted and about 4 months old. Please email Kristine at joysparrows@gmail.com
