My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brita was born on the rough streets of the South Bronx near Yankee Stadium, where she dodged cars and ate garbage to stay alive. Her luck changed when an Anjellicle foster heard about an injured kitten in the colony and decided to embark on her first trapping project.

Within a couple of weeks, Brita, (along with roughly 25 of her friends) was trapped and spayed. Her foster mom spent a lot of time socializing her and now she loves people. She has a striking combination of both tiger-tabby markings with a white bib, stomach and 'socks.'

Brita is definitely the trouble-maker of her temporary home. She loves to rough-house with her 'brother' Rufus who was the injured kitten (of a similar age) trapped from the same colony.

The pair is extremely bonded and love to play and snooze together. Rufus is extremely outgoing while Brita is more selective as to when she wants attention - he's the beauty, she's the brains. They are available for adoption together.

Brita and Rufus are both fixed, up to date on vax, FIV/felv negative, microchipped and on a high quality wet food only diet. They use the litter box perfectly. The pair has become extremely bonded to foster mom and her boyfriend and will take some time to warm up to their new family. For this reason they are not ideal candidates for a meet-and-greet but better suited for a foster-to-adopt situation. You won't be disappointed!
Brita was born around 7/19/16.
