Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kelly is a beautiful red-tick girl who was found as a stray NE of Houston. The family that found her thought she was the sweetest dog they had ever met, but already had more dogs than they were allowed! Kelly is 3-4 years old and a slender 24 pounds on a standard 15-inch frame.
Kelly came to her foster home already house trained and learned to use the dog door quickly. She was kennel trained in her past, because she gets into a kennel willingly at meal times. Her house manners are fantastic, so she is not kenneled in her foster home. She never gets into anything but does like to take toys out side to decorate the yard!
Kelly is a playful girl and enjoys all of the beagle games. She excels at wrestling and critter patrol. She has a wonderful bay, but what you usually hear are the short, sharp barks she uses to tell the pack which direction to turn! She gets along as well with males as she does with females.
She is never demanding of your attention, but loves a good cuddle when your lap is empty. She is good about going to sleep at night on a dog bed or a chair in your room, but will sneak onto the master bed to snuggle during the night. She will make a perfect member of some lucky family!
