My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*BONDED PAIR*

Mojo -- born 2008; yellow Lab; 52 pounds

Elvis -- born 2011; schnauzer/ cairn terrier mix; 17 pounds

We think this dazzling duo are amazing dogs! Because of the very deep bond between Mojo and Elvis, these handsome middle-aged guys are seeking a forever home together. They remind us every day of the value of a true friend.

Mojo is losing his eyesight and depends on Elvis to lead him around in unfamiliar environments. Elvis gets upset when he's separated from his pal and so we want to honor these dogs' friendship and keep them together.

Both Mojo and Elvis are crate trained, 99% housetrained and used to a doggie door. They're familiar with basic obedience and walk well on leash. They're socialized with other dogs.
Mojo and Elvis love every person they meet and truth is, Elvis is a star cuddler. He's never far from Mojo's side and will run across the play yard to block Mojo and steer his path if he thinks his friend may need his help.

These sweet boys were abandoned by their owner at a boarding facility and Mojo had a tumor removed and can only see movement and shadow now. The owner didn't realize he was discarding huge treasure in disguise as dogs. We adore Mojo and Elvis! We know their forever loving home is out there and we will find it for them.

Mojo and Elvis are current on vaccines, heartworm negative and on monthly preventive, neutered and microchipped. Adoption contribution $300. SPDR is a volunteer run rescue, every penny goes to the dogs in our care.
