Hi my name is Woodson!
Woodson here! I'm nearly 11 months old now (a/o 4/2/17) and still only about 40lbs. I get along with my foster cats and foster canine sister. I'm sleeping in my own big boy bed at night now! But I'm still good about going into my crate when no humans are home. I'm getting out more and am good in the car. I enjoy meeting new dogs and people! I think you'd love adding me to your family.
I'm mostly grey with a white head and grey, very animated, ears. My eyes match my grey coat. I am very handsome and my foster mom loves my smile!
I was on crate rest for a broken femur and have been such a good boy in my crate! My foster mom makes sure I had lots of appropriate things to chew. I now stay in my crate when no human is home and at night, but sometimes I sleep in bed with my foster guardians too. I'm such a good boy and I sleep through the night!
I'm a young guy and I want to play a lot! But I also enjoy cuddling. My foster mom doesn't like me on the couch. So, we snuggle on the floor.
I'm interested in other people and dogs, but listen well and move on when my foster mom asks me to. She also taught me to sit and go to my spot for my breakfast and dinner. She's teaching me down and stay, but those are hard because I'm always so excited!

NorCal Bully Breed Rescue is a foster based rescue with foster homes spread all throughout the Sacramento area. We usually require our adopters to be within a 50 to 100 mile radius of us, depending on the dog, and depending on the home. This is because we need to do a yard check to guarantee that the potential adopter's yard is secure, and also have them be close enough should any behavioral issues arise, and the assistance of our trainer is needed. We are, however, willing to adopt out of our area, including the Bay Area, Tahoe, and even further. We've even adopted out of state on very special occasions. We try our best to match our dogs to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular dog. Our adoption fees are based on the dog and range from $200-$350. In the case of senior dogs (6+ years), fees will be waived to the right home. This includes spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, and deworming (if necessary).
Woodson's adoption donation is $350.
