Five little monkeys jumping on a bed . . .
Okay, so they're not monkeys and they weren't always this carefree. Five little puppies were set to be killed by the owner of the mother dog because he didn't want them -- how's that for backwards logic: spaying your female dog doesn't cross your mind but shooting 5 innocent puppies does. In the nick of time a volunteer removed them from underneath the man's porch . . . and these 5 little puppies have been jumping on beds ever since!!
Foster mom knows them best:
"Beau is a very smart dog and could easily be trained. He is active but has his moments where he just wants to lay and snuggle. A fluffy cuddle bug! He is extremely lovable and has been loving towards all of our existing dogs as well as our 2 year old. When I let all the dogs out to use the restroom, he will go and then come right back to sit at my feet. If I am sitting on the ground playing with the puppies, he just wants to be up in my lap giving me lots of puppy kisses. Of all the puppies, he is my chowhound so I usually have to let the smaller ones start eating first before letting Beau in. He is a member of the clean plate club!
While he is a cuddle bug-do not mistake that for the fact that he loves to play and run. We live in a rural area so they have lots of area to roam yet I do not feel that is required for him in a home. He enjoys other dogs and the companionship yet really wants YOUR attention. I could see him being that dog that wants to curl up with you in bed each night. He currently loves his dog bed. Once I place it in the night kennel, he is standing by the door wanting to go in. Beau is the first one to curl up on it. If he were human, I see him as a bow-tie wearing gentleman (which is where is got his name Beau "bow"). I have a feeling he believes he is of royalty. He is distinguished yet plays hard when he wants to. Not sure if it is the curly fluffy hair or that sweet face but he is one puppy that you will love being around. Beau likes the safety of his mom/dad and wants someone to rely on. He deserves the best home available as he will bring nothing but joy to an entire family."
We think Beau is a Cattle Dog -- possibly pure or possibly mixed -- he is about 3 months old, weighs about 10 - 15 pounds and he is a very healthy boy.
