Jade's Story...
Meet gorgeous, sweet Jade.

Jade is a beautiful, 73lb, 5 year old female black Lab. She has had a rough couple of years - her owner loved her, but has had some trouble and Jade has been boarded and turned into Franklin County Dog shelter numerous times. But now, she is ready for her forever home.

Jade is really smart, follows some commands and she is housebroken and crate trained! She loves going for walks and playing with a ball but she really just wants to be with you.

Jade is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots and has a negative heart worm test (and is on monthly heart worm and flea meds). Her adoption fee is $190.

If you would like to meet Jade, please contact Jennifer at or Karen at Thanks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jade, a New Albany Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in New Albany, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in New Albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
