My story

Hi all, My name is Jake. I am a 3 yr old Schnauzer/Cocker Spaniel mix boy who has just run in to some hard times.

Just 7 short months ago, I found myself at a shelter. I was lucky so I thought, I got adopted. Six months later I found myself back at that same shelter with matted fur, inflamed skin, and covered in fleas. I also had a terrible ear infection.

Needless to say, I received zero care from my previous adopter. Did I mention the terrible haircut I had to receive because of these problems.......

So here is where my story gets good. Have you ever heard of Facebook? Well... someone did something called sharing a pic, and here I am, with Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati. I am now living in my foster home, and my skin and ears are healing up nicely, with the help of antibiotics.

My life is finally looking up. I am so thankful. I love on my foster mom and kiss her every chance I get. I love my cozy bed and love playing with the other fur kids in the house. I have all the toys a guy could dream of. Believe it or not, I even like hanging out with the kitty.

I have a lot to offer a new family, as I am now up to date on shots, neutered, house broke, and crate trained. My foster mom is always bragging about what a good boy I am.
