Wanted: someone who will look at me but not want to touch, walk me but not run, love me unconditionally.
Hi guys! I am old man Austin. I am a senior Chi whos prior owner had a stroke and no longer could care for me. I am kind of set in my ways. I want to be pet on my own terms when I feel like it. I want to mostly sleep on my pillow or my chair and be left to do my own thing. I am not a snuggle or a purse dog. If you want a companion whos more like a cat than a dog that's me! I take time to warm up and get used to change but I just want to live out the rest of my days loved....from afar! I am a picky eater also but my foster mom really good care of me by changing my food every so often so I get a chance to try lots of new stuff.

My adoption fee is SPONSORED (meaning I can be adopted fee-waived to an approved home) and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip with free lifetime registration!
