Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This pretty Husky mix 'Bear' is about 2.5 yrs and weighs 61 lbs. She is microchipped. She gets along well with other dogs and kids. She had a very rough puppyhood. Bear was rescued from a high-kill shelter after she was dumped by her owner who purchased her from a breeder and neglected her. She had UTI, separation anxiety and needed a human at all times when she first moved to foster home for fear of being abandoned again. But now, she can handle being without a human. She lives with her foster's two dogs and does well with them. Bear is heartworm negative and her UTI has cleared up. She is learning to trust humans again. However, due to poor breeding, Bear needs to be on a pill twice a day to heal her incontinence, even though she is only 2. She needs a loving family who can give her the TLC that she missed out on as a puppy. If you would like to have a meet and greet with her, please fill out our adoption application available at www.nextsamaritan.org/intakes.html so that we can get you in touch with her foster for a meet and greet and a sleepover. Without application, we cannot move forward with the inquiry as we are unable to decide if your home and this dog are a match. Thanks so much for your interest to rescue a needy dog.
