BELLA: 7 Year Old Spayed Female Yellow Lab Mix 70 lbs
Bella will be the sunshine of your life. Seeing this sweet and happy girl greet you enthusiastically will put a smile on your face. She’s very friendly and loves to play!
Bella has been well cared for and has lived with one owner since she was a pup. Her owner is facing some medical issues and can no longer give Bella the care and exercise that an energetic Lab needs. The owner wants the best for Bella and contacted Lab Rescue to help find this sweetheart a loving new home.
Bella loves to play fetch and to swim, and enjoys riding in the car. Her owner describes Bella as sweet, kind, playful, gentle when not excited, and for the most part perfect. Bella was taught to have good manners and one of the commands she knows is “excuse me”.
Bella does well with the owner’s grandchildren. Bella is friendly with other dogs, though she hasn’t had many chances to be around other dogs recently. We don’t know how she is with cats. Bella doesn’t get out for many walks currently, so she’s excited when she gets the opportunity and may need a little refresher practice on her leash walking skills.
We think Bella’s lucky new owner will find her to be a delightful dog who brings joy to your heart. Bella has received regular vet checkups and is up to date on vaccinations. She is housebroken, microchipped and is heartworm negative.

(Please keep in mind we are all volunteers, most of us work full time and we all have personal lives. I do call everyone back within 2-3 days so please be patient and I will be back in touch with you. When the dogs are in foster homes then it may take longer as we need to touch base with the fosters for updates on the dogs. We work very hard to make the right matches for the dogs and for the new owners. We get 3-5 dogs per week and we do not have a facility that we keep the dogs housed in. They are scattered all over the Bay Area.)
