My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hugo was acquired through my last last relationship. He was acquired by my ex boyfriend without my acknowledgement and was brought home suddenly one night. When my ex and I split and I was in the process of moving out, he notified me that he was going to give Hugo away, specifically to one of his family members that has a home but they keep their dogs outside 24/7. I did not believe that was the type of home Hugo or any dog deserves for that matter so I brought him with me to my mother's studio apartment. At that time I got the ok from my mom and her landlord. My mom has three other small dogs (2 chihuahuas and 1 shih-poodle mix). She welcomed Hugo and I told her his stay would be temporary while I looked for a good home for him.
It has been a little over 8 months since I told her that and I put the word out with friends/family. Her dogs adapted to Hugo because he is such a friendly lovable dog but we just got a notice from our landlord regarding "too many dogs" so that is why I am here today.
Hugo was born September 6, 2015, he is a young adult, he is amazingly lovable, the sweetest little guy.
I love him dearly and it breaks my heart typing this and the thought of him leaving, but I know my home is not the home Hugo deserves. I am not in the position to give him the life he deserves to have, that is why I know the best thing to do is give him to a good family where he can enjoy a more spacious active life.
A little more info on Hugo,
-He loves to eat! a little too much (its a beagle thing), we have to be careful because he will eat tennis balls and paper.
-He is currently on grain free food because he is a little overweight.
-He sits when told to, shakes my hand when I say 'shake'
-Great to take on walks
-Loves car rides
-He is very nosy but that needs to be understood as he is a beagle and has a very powerful nose.
