Burma's Story...
Hi, my name is Burma. I am a nine week old male chihuahua, but mom says I look, and walk like a Brahma Bull. Not sure what that is, but if it's strong and good looking, that's me. I love to be held, and take walks. Not very long ones though, my legs are still tiny. Carrying is a good thing. I will have my big boy surgery March 11th, as well as my rabies and first puppy shot. I'm looking for a home that will allow me to be a lap dog, my mom is a therapy dog and I aspire to follow in her paw prints.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Burma, a Palm Desert Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Palm Desert, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Palm Desert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palm Desert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palm Desert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palm Desert paves the way for another one to be saved.
